You know how sometimes the weekend seems like an actual rest - and people go “what did you do this weekend?” and you look at them with a bug relaxed smile and say “nothing, it was awesome” and then they go back to nosing around in other people’s business? Our weekend was the total opposite of that. Between cleaning out our meth lab and weapon stockpile because my mom is coming for a week and the design fair that our friend is presenting at AND the museum festival there was not a single moment of downtime. Well, except when we decided last night to go have a cocktail at destino instead of watching fireworks in the cold and rain.

I guess I’ve missed having a blog. Since moving to Frankfurt, things have been relatively normal, compared to the nutty world of Kiev, yet still insanely fun.

I was thinking about how I need to change my relationship with Facebook. How I’ve kind of been using it as a blog, and it’s really not built for that. Well, it is kind of, but it’s like eating a whole bag of those ColoRado Gummie things - easy to do, but not very good for you.  So - Facebook - you are no longer my blog. I opened Tumblr. When I got here, it said “welcome, monkeypile!” Hmm…I guess I started to set up a site a while ago. Then I totally forgot about. But hey, it’s fate that has now brought us back together. FATE.

Now that I remember that I did have a blog that I never really set up completely - look out world! Prepare to be wowed by the mundane things that I find online and the photos of my boyfriend and dog and our adventures.
